JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 30-10-2018 The issue of fixing the date of superannuation of the petitioner is involved in the present writ petition. On behalf of the respondent-University stand has been taken in the counter affidavit that the case of the petitioner was placed before the Grievance Redressal Cell on 31.5.2018 and the Grievance Redressal Cell has recommended the case of the petitioner for fixing the date of superannuation as 31st January, 2016 for appropriate decision by the Syndicate of the University. In support of the aforesaid stand, the University has placed on record the notice issued on 30th of May, 2018 and the minutes of the meeting dated 31st of May, 2018.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the University to place the case of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.22657 of 2012 dt.30-10-2018 2/2 before the Syndicate at the earliest and take appropriate decision on the recommendation of the Grievance Redressal Cell expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that the decision of the University fixing the date of superannuation of the petitioner would be clinching for the purpose of all consequential benefits admissible to the petitioner.
