2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maheshkhunt P.S. Case No. 99 of 2025 registered for the offence under Section 111 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 21(C) of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of contraband i.e., Codeine Phosphate and Triprolidine HCL RTX SCEN Cough Syrup of 49 bottles of 100ml. Each totaling 4.900 liters from the room of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 01.07.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62631 of 2025(5) dt.18-12-2025 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the huge recovery of cough syrup from the room of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected for the present.
