The present application has been filed for restoration of Cr.W.J.C. No.1045 of 2015 which stood dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 24.2.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he was engaged in marriage ceremony and requested his colleague to make prayer for adjournment of the case, but he could not attend the court in time and ultimately the case was dismissed for nonprosecution. On the facts and in the circumstances of the case, the
