The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 489(B), 489© 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegedly, counterfeit notes of Rs. 48800 are said to have been recovered from the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 15-06-2019. Charge sheet has already been submitted. It is alleged that counterfeit notes of Rs. 48800 are recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner had no knowledge that the notes are counterfeit currency. The other

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57754 of 2019(3) dt.16-11-2019 2/2 co-accused with similar allegation has been granted bail by a coordinate bench of this court vide order dated 17-10-2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62180 of 2019.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Ara Nawada P.S. Case No. 418 of 2019.
