The present writ application involved the issue of payment of difference of arrears of salary in the matter of D.A., H.R.A., and M.A. for the period of 01.01.2006 to November 2016 on account of revised pay scale in terms of the U.G.C. notification with effect from 01.01.2006. The benefit of D.A., H.R.A., and M.A. was extended to similarly circumstanced other teachers but the petitioner has been discriminated.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19821 of 2019(2) dt.25-09-2019 2/2 Considering the fact that the similarly circumstanced other teachers have been paid the of difference amount of D.A., H.R.A., and M.A., the present writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the University to verify the entitlement of the petitioner and pay the difference amount of D.A., H.R.A., and M.A., at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Necessary decision as to the entitlement of the petitioner with regard to consequential benefits must be taken by the respondents within the time frame indicated above. With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
