The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the first information report in which the informant has given a very graphic account of the occurrence. However, subsequently in her further statement she has taken the name of the petitioner in a very vague manner and on instigation of somebody. It is urged that in case the petitioner was involved in the occurrence there was no occasion for the informant in not naming him in the first information report. Petitioner has stated that his antecedent is clean.
