11-09-2018 Heard Sri Praveen Kumar Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. Six petitioners, who were ward members apprehending their arrest in Morkahi P.S. Case No. 155 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 470/34 of the Indian Penal Code, have prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case on an accusation, as if, the amount of beneficiaries was siphoned by petitioners conniving with other accused persons. He further
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53783 of 2018(3) dt.11-09-2018 2/2 submits that concerned Mukhiya has already been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail.
However, after going through the F.I.R. as well as the fact that petitioners are arrayed as accused in the F.I.R. with specific accusation, I am of the opinion that it is not a case for passing favourable order.
The prayer for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J.) anay U T
