The petitioner is accused in connection with Rupauli Akabarpur P.S. Case No. 285 of 2014, registered under Sections 302/34, 392 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, the name of the petitioner has been disclosed by co-accused Chano Mandal @ Chanwa @ Chandra Kishore and Navin Mandal, except the confessional statement, there is nothing against the petitioner to show his involvement in the present case. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 30.03.2015.
