====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 16-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No. 192 of 2020 registered under Sections 304(B), 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2021, is a person with clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the informant alleges that his daughter was married to Sitaram Mallik about seven months ago and after marriage, petitioner and his family members started demanding a motorcycle and a golden chain by way of dowry, it is further alleged that due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand, his daughter was killed on 22.12.2020 and body was cremated without the knowledge of the informant and the accused persons absconded from the

The learned counsel submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and is separate in mess and property, the deceased committed suicide on account of differences with her husband and husband is in custody. It is further submitted that co-accused Shankar Mallik has been granted bail by order dated 07.02.2022 in Criminal Misc. No. 51252 of 2021.

The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case and the husband is in the custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No. 192 of 2020.
