ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners and the State.

The Petitioners seek bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 384, 386, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-B), a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32303 of 2014 (3) dt.12-01-2015 2/2 Considering that the Petitioners appear to be a member of a Gang of extortionist, I am not inclined to grant them bail in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 42 of 2014 pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi. The prayer for bail is rejected.

In view of the serious nature of the offence, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the Trial for which reason, he is directed to send a list of the witnesses fixing specific dates for each witnesses for their examination along with a copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police concerned, who is directed to ensure the attendance of the witnesses on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further delay in the Trial.
