The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonpur Rail (Hajipur) P.S. Case No.137 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act. Recovery is of total 4 kg of ganja from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2023.

In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The trial is directed to be expedited.
