2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial Excise Case No. 603 of 2024 arising out of Laukaha P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

3. Recovery is of 180 litres of illicit country made liquor.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that no similar kind of offence is made out against the petitioner and the petitioner is not involved in any other case of similar nature. The petitioner has been framed in the instant case only on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused, Bharat Kumar Mehta and the petitioner is no concern with the co-accused. The petitioner is under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66871 of 2024(2) dt.26-09-2024 2/2 custody since 07.08.2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise Court No.1, Supaul in connection with Sessions Trial Excise Case No. 603 of 2024 arising out of Laukaha P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, subject to the following condition:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
