The petitioner seeks regular bail in registered for the offences punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and during investigation it has come that the deceased was not willing to continue the conjugal life with the petitioner and out of depression she committed suicide. Police after investigation submitted charge sheet for the offence under section 306 IPC. In the post mortem report, the doctor has found

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.131 of 2022(3) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 that the death caused due to hanging. No external or internal injury was found on her body. Petitioner is in custody since 24.9.2021.

Learned counsel for the State and the informant oppose the prayer for bail.

Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that the deceased died within seven years of marriage in unnatural condition at her matrimonial house and there is demand of dowry and petitioner being husband of the deceased, his prayer for bail is refused.

Let the trial be expedited and concluded as early as possible.
