The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No.227 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a), 32, 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

About 2645 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2023. He further submits that petitioner is ready to donate Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting the allegation.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise-2, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Durgawati P.S. Case No. 227 of 2023. 6.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) in Ramkrishna Mission Ashrama, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below.
