JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 13-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 609/2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The name of the petitioner came in confessional statement of co-accused from whose possession the stolen motorcycle was recovered, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Further, it is made clear that this order shall not cause any prejudice to the concerned court at the time of consideration of regular bail application of the petitioner.
