The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code were added.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of Manoj Yadav. Except the confession made before the police, the police did not collect any further evidence. The petitioner is in jail since 20.04.2015, but he has not been put on test identification parade. Other accused persons namely Subhash Yadav has already been enlarged on bail. The case of the petitioner stands on the same footing.
