JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-10-2019 The respondents have filed several counter affidavits in the present case and ultimately, it appears that the amount of G.P.F., leave encashment, group insurance, gratuity and pension have already stood paid to the petitioner herein. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner makes a grievance regarding deduction of income tax amounting to a sum of Rs. 7,07,495/-. As far as the said amount of income tax is concerned,

Patna High Court CWJC No.18798 of 2019(3) dt.24-10-2019 2/2 the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Treasury Officer, Nawada, for clarification and details of the said amount deducted, by filing appropriate representation, which shall be disposed of by a reasoned order giving calculation chart therein within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that certain amount of arrears of salary are also outstanding for payment.

This Court deems it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 3 for redressal of the said grievances and in case, a representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Respondent No. 3 shall take appropriate action and dispose of the same by a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
