The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

Allegedly, it is a case of recovery of illicit liquor from the barandah which is adjacent to the house of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he has not been apprehended at the spot.

However, learned APP for the State has opposed the anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submitted that petitioner has seven criminal antecedents of same nature of offence except one.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is disposed of.
