The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No. 26 of 2016 registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation that the petitioner repeatedly ravished the informant of the case, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to him. Accordingly, the application preferred under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is rejected.
