JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-08-2015 The petitioner prays for directing the respondents to connect the domestic electric line for which he has already deposited the required amount vide Annexure 2 as he is a valid consumer of the electricity vide Consumer ID No.1807567. Counsel for the Company states that earlier the petitioner was provided with electric connection. However, his neighbours mischievously had been cutting wire. The petitioner in paragraph 10 of the writ petition, has too stated that in night of 4.6.2015, some unknown persons disconnected the electric. Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner ought to have filed a complaint or lodge an FIR.

I find substance in the submissions of learned counsel

Patna High Court CWJC No.8953 of 2015 (2) dt.11-08-2015 2/2 for the Company that the petitioner at his own level should have filed complaint against his neighbours.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach respondent no.6 for connecting the disrupted lines, who would do the needful.
