The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467/468/471/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that she, as an Agent of Mahila Pradhan Kshetriya Bachat Yojna, had taken amounts from the depositors, and by making false entry in the respective pass-books, had misappropriated a huge amount to the tune of Rs. 6,63,400/- (rupees six lacs sixty-three thousand and four hundred only). It is submitted that the amounts alleged to have been misappropriated have now already been deposited by the petitioner Priyanka Devi and on the basis of such deposit, the husband of the present petitioner (Gopi Krishna) was
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20645 of 2016 (2) dt.05-08-2016 P2/2 extended the benefit of anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. No. 22788 of 2016 vide order dated 14.07.2016.
Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and that the petitioner has already deposited the money which is alleged to have been defalcated, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest / surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul in connection with Balua Bazar P.S. Case No. 06/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
