This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Rajoun (Nawada O.P.) P.S. Case No. 17 of 2023 (S.T. No.358 of 2023) registered for the offence punishable under Section 304-B of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. Allegation against the petitioner is of killing the deceased for demand of dowry.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the deceased had committed suicide and the petitioner was found present on the spot. He further submits that the parents of the deceased had not deposed against the petitioner, in fact, they have not been examined by the Police. The charge-sheet has been submitted by the police and charges

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64304 of 2023(2) dt.11-10-2023 2/2 have been framed.

Considering the facts of this case, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this application is accordingly rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if there is no sufficient progress in the trial.
