Mr.Arun Kumar Singh, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE S. B. PD. SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-04-2025 1.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sakatpur P.S. Case No. 82 of 2023 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 376, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3.

As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is that he gave assurance of marriage and sexually harassed the informant due to which she became pregnant.

4.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66416 of 2024(4) dt.07-04-2025 2/2 been implicated in the present case merely on the ground of village politics. He further submits that the petitioner has solemnized marriage with informant on 27.09.2023. 5.

Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. 6.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the FIR, it appears that on the false promise of marriage, petitioner established sexual relationship with the informant and she became pregnant and in paras '6', '7', '8' and '9' of case diary, the statement of victim/informant has been recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. in which she has supported allegations levelled against him, considering the heinous crime committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Hence, the anticipatory bail stands rejected.

7.

This application stands disposed of.
