2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks to avail appropriate remedy for the reliefs as prayed for in the present writ petition considering the fact that the petitioner is claiming his due promotion on the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police w.e.f. 01.01.2005 the date the posts were vacant, but the petitioner has been denied due promotion on the said post, as well as, financial upgradation, as a result of stagnation till the year 2011.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, the petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation before the Director General of Police, Bihar to consider his claim and do needful. The representation of the petitioner must be considered in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
