This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 20/22 of the NDPS Act, registered in connection with Sultanganj P.S.Case No. 69 of 2022, Special NDPS Case No. 36/2022 As per the FIR, 21 kg of ganja was recovered from the house of Bottle Mandal. The petitioner was present there and he was arrested while concealing the alleged ganja. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that Bottle Mandal is the persons from whose house the alleged ganja was recovered. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he was concealing the alleged contraband.

The quantity of ganja recovered comes under the commercial quantity. The petitioner was arrested at the spot while concealing the abovenoted contraband.

In my view, it is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. The application is accordingly rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) HR/- U T
