ii) For the issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the respondent authorities to take necessary steps to appoint the petitioner on the post of Anganbadi sevika in ward no. 09, Center no.132 gram post-Chhourahi under Chhehrakala block District-Vaishali."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
