2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Vaishali PS Case No. 408 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a)/41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. 1672 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from Bolero vehicle of which this petitioner is registered owner.

4. It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor and he claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned APP however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that recovery has been made from the vehicle of which this petitioner is registered owner.

6. Considering the huge quantity of liquor and the fact

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64971 of 2023(2) dt.17-10-2023 2/2 that petitioner is registered owner of the vehicle from which illicit liquor has been recovered, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
