This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Complaint Case No. 1788-C of 2016, disclosing offence under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the husband of the informant. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the dispute between the petitioner and the Opposite Party No. 2 stands resolved with the intervention of the learned Mediator, as appears from the report submitted by the learned Mediator. Considering the submission, as above, this

Let the petitioner, Md. Saddam, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Araria, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1788-C of 2016, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present himself before the Court, as and when required and in the event of failure on his part to appear before the Court below on two consecutive occasions, his bail bond shall be liable to be cancelled.
