The petitioner being the brother's wife of the husband of the victim has renewed the prayer for anticipatory bail in a case registered for the offences under sections 498A, 341, 323, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Subsequently, the victim died after about 20 days of the occurrence on 10.9.2012, then section 304B was added. Prosecution case as per the statement of the victim Kajal Devi is to the effect that her marriage was solemnized with Ajit Singh on 17.6.2012 but after the marriage there was further demand of Rs.2 lacs rupees by the accused persons including the petitioner and for non-fulfillment of the same the accused persons caused burn injuries to the informant within two months of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29494 of 2016 (3) dt.29-07-2016 marriage. The statement was recorded in the hospital but she could not give her thumb impression due to burn injuries. She informed her father through Cell-phone, who is the attesting witnesses to the fardbeyan.

Considering the fact that the victim was killed within two months of the marriage and she alleged accusation against the petitioner while getting the statement recorded in the hospital, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court rejected the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner vide order dated 5.3.2014 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 28216/2013, hence, this Court does not find any reason to review the order. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
