The petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2019 in connection with Excise Case No. 819 of 2019 (Kaler P.S. Case No. 50/2019) registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they were in a traveller vehicle which was disrupted and certain recovery has been made. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are lady and they have nothing to do with the alleged recoveries of wine from the concerned vehicle. They are also not having any criminal antecedent.

Session Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Jehanabad, in connection with Excise Case No. 819 of 2019 (Kaler P.S. Case No. 50/2019).
