The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 23.05.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand and making assault. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is ready to keep the informant as wife with full dignity and honour.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40806 of 2014 (03) dt.06-02-2015 2/2 The offer is acceptable to the learned counsel appearing for the informant.
Both sides agree to appear before the learned court below on 23rd of March, 2015 when the petitioner will take the informant to keep her as wife with full dignity and honour. Considering the present stand of the petitioner, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalganj Mahila P.S. Case No. 27 of 2014.
