JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 17-11-2016 Heard Sri Bikramdeo Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 23.07.2015 in Barachatti P.S. Case No.293/2015 registered for the offence under Sections 498A, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, has prayed for grant of bail. In this case, by order dated 17.10.2016 a report was called for, which has been received. The report suggests that now the case is fixed for framing of charge.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the deceased has committed suicide by hanging herself.

No.30531 of 2016 (6) dt.17-11-2016 2/2 However, on going through the materials on record, particularly the fact disclosed in the F.I.R, the Court is satisfied that it is not a case for grant of bail. The petition stands dismissed. Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 23.07.2015, while dismissing the present petition, it is desirable to observe that the learned court below may take appropriate steps, so that the case may come to its logical end without unnecessary delay.
