Apprehending his arrest in Manjhi P.S. Case No. 126 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

It is stated that owing to land dispute, the occurrence is stated to have been committed. There is counter version also of the present case. The informant received only two simple injuries. In paragraph 3 of the application, it has been stated that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Mr. Dayal, APP for the State submits that specific allegation of causing injury by sword on head is attributed to the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38229 of 2017(3) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 In my view, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer is rejected. Petitioner shall surrender and pray for bail which shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law.
