1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Rangra P.S. Case no.37 of 2025 registered under sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S, 2023.

3. The allegations in the F.I.R is that the dead body of the informant's wife Pinki Devi @ Phulan Devi was found lying in a wheat field. The informant suspected that accused Rohit Mandal, Gholti Mandal and Pappu Mandal had strangulated his wife and killed her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R and her name has transpired in this case on the confessional statement of her husband Gholti Mandal made before police which has no evidentiary value. It

No.62602 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 2/3 has further been submitted that the very fact that deceased was not found in the night of the occurrence and no missing report or F.I.R was lodged in the night itself, seems to be a doubtful circumstance. There is only a vague allegations that threatening had been given by the F.I.R named accused persons. Besides this, no material has come to connect the petitioner in the alleged crime. Moreover, husband of the petitioner has already been granted regular bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 09.09.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62461 of 2025. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and undertakes to cooperate in the case/trial.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R and also considering the fact that coaccused Gholti Mandal has already been granted regular bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court upon whose confession the name of this petitioner has transpired, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Rangra P.S. Case no.37 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62602 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 3/3 (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M-I, Naugachhia, Bhagalpur, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S, 2023.
