2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 50 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 85, 89, 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3⁄4 of the DP Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is of assault.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 04.07.2025. He further submits
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60543 of 2025(2) dt.08-09-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is the Sister-in-Law (Gotani) of the victim.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the period of custody and the relationship between the victim and the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui/concerned Court below in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 50 of 2024.
