The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 323, 354 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the petitioner entered into the house of the informant, attempted to ravish the daughter of the informant and subsequently when the neighbours of informant came the petitioner escaped from the scene taking away a box containing Rs.30,000/-, jewellery and clothes. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for the occurrence of 01.04.2015 the complaint was filed on 07.04.2015 which came to be registered as police

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34233 of 2015 (2) dt.14-08-2015 2/2 case on 04.06.2015.

A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The delayed lodging of the FIR constitutes ground for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Patna Kotwali P.S. Case No. 274 of 2015 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
