The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 17 of 2014 registered under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act with regard to recovery of fermented Mahuwa and 40 liters of illegal wine.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, if the petitioner may surrender and prays for regular bail then court below shall consider his prayer for bail. With the above observation, the bail petition is disposed of.
