The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Excise Case No. 257 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under section 30 (a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The Police on secret informant had gone for a raid and found that three persons were fleeing away lifting 207.360 litres liquor and they including petitioner were identified by the people who were present there.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the court below
