JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) to issue an order/orders direction/ directions/ writ/writs in the nature of mandamus directing upon the respondents concerned to get correct the date of Birth of the petitioner which is wrongly typed as 16.02.1961 in place of 03.08.1966 in the Birth certificate issued by Bihar School Examination Board, Bihar, Patna, despite the fact that the date of Birth of the petitioner is mentioned as 03.08.1966, in the Admission

b) To issue an order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents concerned to get correct the name of the father of the petitioner, which is Wrongly typed as SURENDRA DWIVEDI in place of SURENDRA DUBEY in the Birth certificate issued from the office of the Board as contained in Annexure 5 despite the fact that the name of the father of the petitioner is quoted as SURENDRA DUBEY in the Admission Register of the school and School Leaving Certificate as contained in Annexure3 issued from the office of Respondent No.4. c) To hold and direct the Respondent concerned to get dispose of the representations as so preferred by the petitioner in the aforesaid context-before the Board since the Respondents concerned has put hold the proceeding in the date of 08.08.2023 for the reason best known to them."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15190 of 2023(2) dt.02-04-2024 3/3 writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
