====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 28-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 503 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that the police has seized a huge quantity of illegal liquor and after seeing the police party, the petitioner fled away. The co-accused Shailendra Kumar has apprehended, who has disclosed the name of the petitioner. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.822 of 2019(2) dt.28-01-2019 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
