1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to remove the respondent No.6 from the post of Pramukh, Lakhisarai in view of Bihar Gazette Notification dated 12th August, 2024, whereby the caste "Tatwa", earlier falling under the Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe category has been converted into backward category, as such the respondent no.6, who was elected as Pramukh on the seat meant for SC/ST category, is now not entitled to remain on the post of Pramukh.
(ii) Further for issuance of an appropriate
Patna High Court CWJC No.14818 of 2024(2) dt.30-09-2024 2/2 writ/writs, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 1-8-2024, filed by the petitioner's son for removal of the respondent no.6 from the post of Pramukh."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondents for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
