JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 04-11-2022 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Circle Officer, Sangrampur, East Champaran i.e. the respondent no. 6 to conclude the proceedings of the pending Encroachment Case No. 02 of 2014-15. The learned counsel for the respondent State submits

Patna High Court CWJC No.86 of 2022(2) dt.04-11-2022 2/2 that in case the proceedings of the aforesaid encroachment case has not been taken to its logical conclusion, the same shall be definitely disposed off by the respondent no. 6 by passing appropriate orders under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a stipulated time frame. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to respondent no. 6 to dispose off the aforesaid Encroachment Case No. 02 of 2013-14, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of 12 weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
