The only grievance of the petitioner is that he filed Revision Case No.4 of 2006 before the Board of Revenue against the order passed in a Land Ceiling Case by the statutory authority, but, despite passage of almost 9 years, the aforesaid case has not been disposed of till date.

In view of the nature of the grievance raised on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ petition, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Member, Board of Revenue, Bihar, Patna either himself personally or through his counsel with a certified copy of the present order within a period of one month from today, whereafter the learned Member, Board of Revenue, Bihar, Patna shall examine his claim by looking into the records of the aforesaid Revision Case No.4 of 2006. If the aforesaid Revision Case No.4 of 2006 has not been finally disposed of, then

Patna High Court CWJC No.12687 of 2015 (2) dt.27-08-2015 the learned Member, Board of Revenue shall pass an appropriate order for disposal of the aforesaid case either by himself or by any Additional Member of the Board of Revenue at an early date preferably within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

It is expected that the aforesaid observations and directions shall be carried out in its true letter and spirit by the learned Member, Board of Revenue.

The writ petition stands finally disposed of with the observations and directions made above.
