JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD) 29-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Central Government and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence ('DRI').

2. At the outset, this Court has been informed that so far as the present case is concerned, the matter has become infructuous.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the Central Government and the DRI have

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2030 of 2024(16) dt.29-07-2025 2/2 jointly informed this Court that the petitioner has served the detention order dated 06.03.2024.

4. At this stage, Mr. Alok Kumar, learned Central Government Counsel has raised an issue saying that by virtue of the order dated 08.10.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner had come out of jail for some time, subsequently, he had surrendered after the said interim order dated 08.10.2024 was vacated, therefore, the competent authority may have to take a view as to whether the detention order is to be extended to that extent or not.

5. This Court would not make any observation on the issue raised by learned Central Government Counsel for the reason that presently, there is nothing on the record showing that any such order has been passed by the Detaining Authority. The question remains open

6. This writ application is dismissed as having become infructuous.
