The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 20(B)/(11)(C)/22/27(A)/29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

Petitioner is not named in the First Information Report. For the first time, Police informer disclosed the name of the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Name of the petitioner figured in the confessional statement of Viccki Kumar, son of the petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused Viccki Kumar @ Vikash Kumar Singh has been granted bail vide order dated 09.12.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 39082 of 2014.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36995 of 2015 (2) dt.25-08-2015 P2/2 Admittedly, huge quantity of Ganja was recovered from the truck and Scorpio vehicle but petitioner is neither the owner of the truck or scorpio nor the driver of the aforesaid vehicle. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District judge, 1st Buxar in connection with NDPS Case No. 5 of 2014 (arising out of Nawanagar P.S. Case No. 82 of 2014).
