2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2023 and there is recovery of 528.600 litres of country made liquor from his possession. He further submits that he has clean antecedent.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

5. Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is

District & Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Exclusive Special Excise Case No. II, Gopalganj in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2023.
