This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing the order dated 29.01.2014 passed by the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna, in Complaint Case No. 717(c) of 2013 by which the learned Magistrate after holding enquiry has found prima facie case against the petitioners and other accused person for the offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

None had appeared on behalf of the petitioners on 26.6.2018. The case was adjourned for today as a last chance. In the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47676 of 2014 dt.02-07-2018 2/2 aforesaid order petitioners were directed to inform the Court about progress made in the petition filed by the parties under Section 13 (B) of Hindu Marriage Act.

None appeared on behalf of the petitioners today on repeated calls.

From the impugned order it appears that learned Magistrate after holding enquiry and recording statement of witnesses has found prima facie case against the petitioners including other accused person for the offence under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 5.

Therefore, this Court does not find any illegality in the impugned order.

This Criminal Miscellaneous application is accordingly dismissed.

The court below is directed to proceed in the case in accordance with law.
