Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Section 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

One Murari Das was caught by the informant and others when the said Murari Das had gone to deliver a letter to the informant and in the said letter, demand of Rs.2,00,000/- as rangdari had been made. The apprehended Murari Das disclosed that F.I.R. named accused Pintu Bind and Pradip Bind as well as two unknown persons had issued the aforesaid letter to hand over the same to the informant. Subsequently, co-accused Pintu Bind was arrested and disclosed the name of the petitioner. It appears

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33875 of 2016 (2) dt.18-08-2016 2/2 that except the aforesaid confessional statement of co-accused Pintu Bind, there is nothing against the petitioners. Accordingly, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Munger in connection with Kharagpur (Shampur) P.S.
