JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 02-12-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Deepak Kumar, learned AC to GP-4 for the State. This writ application has been filed seeking proper and fair investigation of Sangrampur P.S. Case no. 75/2022. In the writ application, it is stated that this petitioner has lodged the FIR on 22.03.2022 alleging that his daughter has been taken away by the named accused with an intention to marry her. It is evident from the FIR itself that the daughter of the informant had left her house for market on 09.03.2022 at about 10:00 a.m. whereafter she did not return. No FIR was lodged in this regard.

WJC No.1335 of 2022(2) dt.02-12-2022 2/2 On 14.03.2022, according to the petitioner, he got a photo on the whatsapp of a boy and girl and thereafter he searched for his daughter in which he found that one boy had taken her away with an intention to marry. The FIR was lodged on 22.03.2022. This Court further finds that the Date of Birth of the daughter of the informant, according to the informant is 12.07.2004. She is more than 18 years old and this Court has been informed that she has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has made a statement before the police as well as under Section 164 Cr.P.C. She has taken a stand that on her own volition, she has married to the boy.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case, at this stage, this Court would only direct the investigating agency to submit final report in the learned court below as early as possible.
