The petitioner seeks bail in Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 224/2012, registered for the offences punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have committed rape with a minor girl.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. Out of seven prosecution witnesses, five prosecution witnesses have already been examined. The petitioner is in jail since 02.08.2012. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than three years.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude
